Mother’s Day Tree Climb

I am a mother of three amazing kids; a three-month-old, two-year-old and four-year-old. With that said, recreational tree climbing can be a difficult task. It involves juggling schedules. Since May 8 was Mother’s Day, my awesome husband volunteered to watch the kids (while the youngest napped) so that I could climb with my friends (he knows the way to my heart). What a fabulous Mother’s Day Climb!! Words can’t adequately describe my delight and joy to climb into the brilliant canopy of our White Oak named Hummer. The two ladies who climbed (their first time) also enjoyed an amazing climb aloft.

I hope all the mothers out there enjoyed their day! Perhaps in the future, we can set up an official “mother’s day tree climb” in Oconee County, if there’s an interest for it. I’m thinking a climb accompanied by a nice picnic by the lake would be an awesome opportunity. Let me know your thoughts!

In the meantime, I love enjoying a climb with my eldest son.
