Post Valentine's day, on March 2, 2019, you can dazzle your special someone with a truly extraordinary adventure! Take the planning and thinking out of your hands and relax knowing that you will have a phenomenal experience!
Bring your loved one on a lofty climb into the sensational canopy of a tree! As if that is not enough, after your climb, enjoy an amazing massage. It's the perfect getaway for the outdoorsy couple who seek something unique that gets the adrenaline pumping. The best bonding occurs when two people exert energy, overcome mental barriers and accomplish something together. Rope-assisted tree climbing will fulfill those needs and seal your bond together even more deeply.
Upon arriving on the 88 acres of Hardigree Wildlife Sanctuary, you will park in the grass to the left of the first fork in the roped-off area in front of the creek. You will see the tree with ropes hanging from it, and walk over to the climbing tree for your orientation.
You and your sweetheart (this may be your spouse, significant other, daughter/son, best friend, etc.) will register at the table and receive an orientation about climbing while being fitted with harness and helmet. We will teach you the basics of climbing and then up you go! You can climb up to 70 feet in a majestic white oak tree, relaxing in two sky chairs hung up for your special relax and snuggle time. This is where you experience what we climbers call "the canopy magic zone," which can only be understood when you truly experience it!
A professional photographer instructor will also be in the tree to take pictures so you have a special memoir of your adventure.
You will be belayed down the tree safely, and once on the ground enjoy an incredible massage from licensed massage therapists Chris and Jessica from Pure Life Wellness, LLC in Buford, Georgia. Your muscles will thank you the next day, believe me! Rope assisted tree climbing is still a young sport that is rapidly growing in popularity, and it is an excellent total body and mind workout.
Snacks will be provided, as well as a special Valentine's Day package.
